PETE HILL, 30, is an avowed bachelor who is philosophically against the institution of marriage. One day, without warning, he calls his college friends to tell them he’s getting married to a younger, Southern girl that none of them have ever met or even heard of. When pressed to answer about his sudden change of heart, he serves up generic love speak: “Meeting her was like being hit with a bolt of lightning” and “When you know you know.”

Pete’s friends arrive at the wedding in Georgia, annoyed and cantankerous that Pete is being so deceptive. Further, none of them are where they want to be in their lives. CECILIA is recently divorced, feeling insecure about finding new love and can’t stop staging interventions, pressing her friends into rehab. SAM has lost his finance job and is hiding it from his suspecting wife. He’s also losing his hair and is panicked because his wife wants him to quit taking Propecia so they can have a baby. NICK hasn’t hooked up in months, is drinking too much and is selling his soul in show business, by working on bottom of the barrel reality shows. And ALEX is a Republican Senator’s aide, who is unwilling to come out of the closet to anyone besides his close friends. Reuniting at the wedding reminds them of their carefree younger days and how much they miss each other in their current lives.

SHOTGUN WEDDING takes place during the weekend of the classic “Destination” wedding. It’s the rehearsal dinner, the fishing trip, the wedding, the reception, the after party and the Sunday brunch. It’s the friction between the groom and his new father-in-law, the speculation about whether the bride is pregnant or not and the inevitable hookups between drunken wedding guests. It’s Northerners vs. Southerners, married vs. unmarried, and truth vs. lying.

“Jack Dubee is funny, charming, and dying to be a Dad. Tired of waiting for true love, he decides to buy an egg, fertilize it, hire a surrogate and have his own baby. Jack and his egg donor Bethany wind up falling madly in love, but Bethany has no idea that Jack has secretly bought her egg and they are having a child together. Bethany despises men who tell lies, and Jack has told her some big ones. When the truth is revealed, all hell breaks loose!

Today, for the first time in history, a man can father a baby and retain full and sole custody of his child. He simply purchases an ovum, uses his sperm to fertilize it, then the egg is implanted in the womb of a surrogate and nine months later, he’s a daddy. It sounds so easy. What could possibly go wrong? Jack Dubee is a funny, charming, big-hearted pediatric dentist who loves kids and is desperate to find a wife and start a family. Jack is envious of his brother Sam, his partner specializing in cosmetic dentistry to L.A.’s celebrities, who has a beautiful family but takes them for granted, constantly bitching about the sacrifices of being married with children while devouring porn.
Meanwhile, Bethany Claridge, a pretty, independent, outspoken physical therapist, caring for her teenage half-sister and involved with a pro baseball player, is struggling to save money for med school. Her lesbian best friend Robin sells her eggs for extra cash and she convinces Bethany to do the same.
Late one lonely night, Jack is checking the online dating services and stumbles across a site advertising women who will sell their eggs to the fertility-challenged. Jack gets excited about becoming a father and after pouring over hundreds of possible egg donors, selects the profile of what he hopes is his perfect biological mate… Bethany. She is beautiful. He travels to the clinic and asks if he can meet the donor to be certain she is truly “Mom material”. The doctor explains the donors must remain anonymous. But Sam stokes the fires of Jack’s paranoia, and together they manage to hack into the clinic’s computers and get Bethany’s personal info. With Sam egging him on, Jack decides he must meet Bethany in person to make sure he’s made the right choice.

A father hires a beautiful tutor to teach his son French so that he can graduate high school – only to find both him and his son competing for the affections of this gorgeous free spirit.

A taxi cab frantically zips through the winding streets of Paris while another cab stays on its tail in hot pursuit. Inside the pursued cab sits high school senior JOSH HARRISON, 18. What’s he doing in Paris? Where is he going? And who’s chasing after him?
These questions and more will be answered as we FLASHBACK a few weeks earlier to South Padre Island where young Spring Breakers party like there’s no tomorrow. Much to the chagrin of his friends, Josh needs to head back to his hotel room and study for his upcoming French test since he’s barely passing the class. Matters complicate when Josh’s infamous father, HANK HARRISON, 39, shows up unannounced. Hank is a fun loving man-child who owns and hosts the wildly popular Girls Gone Loco video franchise which involves a camera crew patrolling a party-heavy area frequented by young adults in search of attractive young women who agree to expose their intimates for the camera. Needless to say, Josh is less than pleased when he’s coaxed into accompanying his father on an all-night quest for bared flesh.
Back in school, an exhausted Josh bombs his French test. Everything now rides on his final exam. If he gets a B+ or higher, he’ll matriculate to college…if not, he’ll remain in high school and have to repeat the class in the fall. Feeling guilty for his son’s predicament, Hank hires a stunning French-speaking au pair, CLAIRE ANDRENY, 27, to help his son make the grade.

"The Perfect Girl" is a quirky, sexy, and funny, high-concept comedy set in New York and Los Angeles that tracks the journey of an aspiring writer (JD) who desperately seeks fame and love at the same time.

After a series of hilarious failures and close calls, JD finally spots his perfect girl (Heather) playing beach volleyball, but chooses not to pursue her for fear of rejection. With some coaxing, a reluctant JD agrees to participate in a friend's hair brain plan to produce a Perfect Girl talent show and hold auditions (much like American Idol). After sifting through a mass of aspiring actresses, JD's dream girl who also happens to be a very talented thespian auditions. JD is coaxed to ask her out and love flourishes.

JD quickly learns that his premonitions were not unfounded; Heather truly is his Perfect Girl. But the lie that founded their relationship eats away at JD until he finally reveals the truth about the fake auditions, and very hurt Heather leaves. Does JD find perfect love?

This is when all the fun begins! It’s part “There's something about Mary," part Blake Edwards "10" an outrageous comedy. This role will propel the female lead into ancillary promotion heaven, just as Bo Derek with side plots involving the mob, a wise stranger, and several twists and turns, it concludes untypical to Hollywood endings.

In the spirit of " Man on fire" and "The Machinist" "La Linea" is a gritty, tactile action thriller, whose excitement and intrigue are matched only by its emotional power and depth. It is an intelligent look behind the obvious violence and political implications of the wars on drugs and terror. ‘La Linea’ is filled with layered and flawed characters, all trying to find some form of an elusive clarity and purpose. ‘La Linea’ avoids the clichés of a narcotics/assassin action film, and delves deep into the psyche of the people who are trying desperately to make some sense of their existence. Skillfully combining crisp action sequences and brutal violence that mirrors today’s headlines with plot and storyline twists that find their soul in the characters and their individual journeys, La Linea is truly an ambitious work of modern art.

Like its Mexico based predecessors such as TRAFFIC, MAN ON FIRE, and AMORES PERROS, La Linea is not set in the dusty Mexican villages that seem to have been frozen in time, but rather in the claustrophobic quasi-metropolitan city that lay a stone’s throw from the United States.
